About Ground Control Solutions

South and west of Roanoke the land lets go into the Little River bottoms, flat and wide open, treelines standing black against an October sky. Ground Control Solutions mows and trims out across those section roads, taking the last cuts of the year while the light turns gold by four in the afternoon. Leaves come down all at once when the wind swings around, and hauling them off a yard becomes half of what the day is about. What's left behind is a lawn holding its shape going into the cold — level, tidy, nothing shaggy left in the corners. Come April the mowers start up and the whole rhythm comes back around.
