About Steve's Specialized Services LLC

Thaw comes late and then all at once in Jasper County — a gray week, the ditches running full, and the first green showing around the courthouse square in Rensselaer. Steve's Specialized Services LLC opens the year with cleanups: winter litter raked out of the beds, matted leaves pulled off the crown of the turf, borders recut where frost shoved them out of line. From there it is the mowing season proper, week after week, with trimming and a final sweep of the walks finishing every stop. Farm-town yards get used out here — kids, dogs, a truck in the drive — and the work is about keeping them neat without making them fussy. By the time the beans turn gold in the fields north of town, the routes have found their rhythm and the lawns show it.
