About Nichols Land & Home Services LLC

Where Rensselaer's streets give way to open Jasper County farmland along the Iroquois River, the land itself seems to stretch snow out flatter and farther than it looks in town, and this land-and-home crew works both ends of that stretch — the in-town driveways and the rural properties backed up to the river bends. Driveways in town get cleared the ordinary way, garage to street, same as any residential block elsewhere. Out along the river, longer lanes and farmhouse drives get cleared in fewer, wider passes suited to the open ground. Low spots near the river crossings get checked for ice before anyone drives a truck across them at speed. Both the tight in-town drives and the long rural lanes end up sitting open under the same flat prairie sky.
