Medley's mowing and snow removal

About Medley's mowing and snow removal

School mornings in Portage start early, and this crew is out ahead of the buses working the neighborhood streets near Willow Creek, plowing driveways in the same order it mows lawns come summer — down one side of the block and back up the other. Each driveway gets a full pass to bare pavement, with snow banked along the yard edge instead of pushed into the street where a bus has to swing wide around it. Sidewalks get shoveled clear at the corners first, since that's where kids are standing waiting on a ride. A lake-effect band can add a fresh inch just as the last driveway finishes, so the crew often loops back through the same streets a second time before the morning is done. The buses roll through to find the block clear from end to end.
