DeLong's Lawn Care

About DeLong's Lawn Care

By late August the cicadas have taken over the evening in Liberty and the shade under the yard maples stretches most of the way to the street. That's a good hour to look at a lawn — long light finds every ragged edge, and every clean one. DeLong's Lawn Care mows, trims and tends the borders straight through the growing season, keeping fence lines and mailbox posts from disappearing into the summer. Grass out here grows on prairie soil, which is to say generously. Holding it in hand is steady work, and the payoff is a front yard that keeps its shape right up to first frost.
