Allen's Lawn Care Landscape & Garden Center

About Allen's Lawn Care Landscape & Garden Center

Late May along the Willowcreek Road corridor and everything green is in a hurry; Portage ground, half sand and half old lakebed, pushes growth fast once the nights warm. Allen's Lawn Care Landscape & Garden Center keeps pace with mowing and trimming, bed work and plantings, and the steady edging that keeps a lawn from wandering into the driveway. There is pleasure in matching a plant to the ground it will actually live in, and in cutting on a rhythm the grass can hold. Rain comes through in fast Midwest sheets here, then the sun returns and the whole street goes glossy. A yard tended on that schedule looks unhurried even in the weeks when nothing else does.
