Karner's Lawn Care

About Karner's Lawn Care

Where the Yellow River bends through the neighborhoods on Plymouth's east side, frost lies heavy on the grass long before the sun clears the tree line, and that's where this lawn crew starts its winter mornings plowing driveways instead of mowing yards. Each drive gets pushed clear in a single pass that follows the same lines the mower cut all summer, garage door to street, with snow banked neatly along the edge of the yard rather than piled into the road. Front walks get shoveled to bare concrete and salted where river fog leaves a slick glaze on the steps. Low spots near the riverbank where water tends to pool get watched closely, since an overnight freeze turns runoff into a sheet of ice by morning. Once every driveway on the block is done, the street sits open all the way down to where it curves along the river.
