Wenning Lawncare & Landscape

About Wenning Lawncare & Landscape

Past the edge of Pendleton, where the last streetlights give way to open Madison County farmland, driveways run long and straight toward barns and pole sheds set back from the road — and this landscape crew plows every one the same way it lays out planting beds in warmer months, working the full length in a single pattern. A storm here often arrives late in the day, so the crew is still out after dusk, headlights cutting across drifts banked up against windbreaks of planted evergreens. Snow gets pushed clear of driveways, turnarounds, and the gravel pads in front of machine sheds. Landscape beds get a light pass to knock snow off shrubs before the weight bends a branch. Full dark closes over the flat fields west of town to find a dozen farmhouse lanes along the route shining onto open, plowed gravel.
