Spring Green

About Spring Green

April storms cross Hamilton County from the west, dark over the flat fields, and by evening the whole town smells like rain on cut grass. Spring Green works Noblesville in that window when turf wakes up fast and everything wants doing at once — the first mow, the first feeding, weeds moving before anybody notices them. Along the Nickel Plate line and out through the neighborhoods it comes down to a simple loop: cut at the right height, trim what the deck cannot reach, run the edges, and put down what the soil is short on. Grass here grows on stubborn Indiana clay, so the schedule respects that rather than fighting it. The payoff is color that holds through July and a yard somebody actually wants to stand in at dusk.
