About Delong Landscaping

North of town the land tips toward Morse Reservoir, and the wind coming off that water in the morning carries the smell of cut grass a long way. Delong Landscaping keeps lawns along those shoreline roads and the neighborhoods set back behind them, with weekly mowing, string trimming, fertilization and weed control, and aeration and overseeding once fall opens the soil. Turf near the water takes a beating from sun and foot traffic, so it gets fed and thickened rather than simply cut down. There is real satisfaction in a slope that holds together and stays green all the way to the bank. Come November the leaves go, the beds are tidied, and the yard is put down for winter with nothing left ragged.
