Snow's Landscape & Nursery

About Snow's Landscape & Nursery

What does an Ohio River town sound like under new snow? In Newburgh it is a hush laid over the nineteenth-century brick of the historic district, softening even the low churn of the river below. Snow visits this corner of southern Indiana less often than it does up north, which is exactly why one icy morning can catch a household unready. Snow's Landscape & Nursery, a business with the forecast right in its name, plows driveways and shovels walks and front steps so the way out is open when the day begins. The reward is in the contrast: a bare dark drive cut through a white town, tidy banks along its edges, and a porch step clear for the morning paper.
