About Martin and Son’s Lawn Care Services

The first cut of the year around Newburgh happens the morning frost finally burns off the ditch banks and the ground quits squelching underfoot. Martin and Son's Lawn Care Services starts right there — spring cleanup, winter litter raked out of the fencerow shade, then the first honest pass of the mower. Through the season it is mowing on a steady turn, string trimming around posts and mailboxes, feeding and weed control so the thin spots fill in by June. Dust hangs over the lanes on dry afternoons and settles on everything, which only makes a freshly edged walk look better. By the time the mulberries drop, the yards they keep have found their color and hold it.
