About L&C Lawn Care

New Ross is small enough that a mower's engine carries clear to the edge of town, out past the elevator and into the beanfields. L&C Lawn Care keeps the yards along these few streets on a rhythm — the first cut in April, when the ditches green up ahead of everything else, then week on week through the wide Montgomery County summer. Trimming close around porch steps and clothesline poles, edging the sidewalk seams, running the blower down the drive so the walk is bare when the evening light comes in low and gold. In fall the maples let go all at once and the work turns to leaf cleanup, hauling a yard back to open ground before the first hard frost. It is unhurried work on streets where a straight edge shows from the road.
