About KLS Enterprises Lawn

Long before the railroad, it was the Wabash and Erie Canal that put New Haven on the map, and traces of that towpath still thread through parts of town where the streets bend to follow water that isn't there anymore. KLS Enterprises works those same old lines today, clearing the driveways and walkways that sit along the historic grid laid out back when boats, not cars, moved goods through here. A driveway on a canal-era street is often narrower and set closer to the road than the newer subdivisions, so the crew plows by careful judgment as much as by blade width, keeping the old lines clean without chewing up the edges. It's a quiet nod to a New Haven that predates the whistle of any train.
