Gardner's Lawn care

About Gardner's Lawn care

By the third week of October the maples along New Haven's older streets let go all at once, and a yard can vanish under them in a single windy night. Gardner's Lawn care shows up for exactly that — leaf cleanup, final cuts, trimming and edging, hauling the season off a lawn so the grass goes into winter breathing. There is a particular pleasure in the raked-clean look at four in the afternoon, low sun on it, the yard suddenly bigger than it was that morning. The rest of the year is mowing and the steady weekly rhythm that keeps October from turning into a disaster. New Haven yards, and others across the east side of Allen County.
