Clean Slate Power House

About Clean Slate Power House

A New Castle afternoon in late July sits still and heavy, heat shimmering off the alley gravel behind the old brick storefronts. Clean Slate Power House works straight through it — mowing, trimming, edging, and knocking down the growth that takes over side lots, alley edges and fence corners when nobody is watching. The pleasure is in the before and after: a lot that stood chest-high at ten in the morning, flat and squared by suppertime. Properties here run from tight downtown parcels to half-acre yards out toward the county line, and each gets cut to its own shape. When the shade finally comes across the block, everything has an edge on it again.
