About K C Tree Inc

New Carlisle's downtown is short enough to walk end to end in a few minutes, a handful of storefronts along the old US 20 corridor that still gets truck traffic passing through on its way toward South Bend, and keeping that stretch of sidewalk and curb clear is where K C Tree earns its name. The crew works the block early, before the shops open, pushing the overnight accumulation off the walks and salting the crossings so foot traffic isn't fighting ice at the curb cuts. Storm-damaged limbs that come down heavy with snow along the side streets get hauled off the same morning, so a downtown that's small enough to notice one blocked sidewalk doesn't have to live with it for long. Main Street is bare pavement again well before New Carlisle's shops open for the day.
