About JK Grasscutters Inc

Main Street in New Albany still carries the weight of the steamboat years, its old brick mansions standing shoulder to shoulder along sidewalks meant for foot traffic long before anyone owned a car, and those same sidewalks are where JK Grasscutters spends the hours right after a snow starts to fall. Working block by block under the streetlights while most of downtown sleeps, the crew clears the walks in front of the porches and iron fences so the first person out the door in the morning finds bare concrete instead of a slick crust. Driveways off the side streets get the same treatment, plowed to the curb and salted before sunrise reaches the river. It's quiet work, done in the dark, for a stretch of town that people are proud to walk.
