Hoosier Tree Service

About Hoosier Tree Service

The farms around Nappanee lean on windbreak trees planted along the county roads generations back, rows of them holding back wind that would otherwise pile snow straight across the fields and onto the lane. Hoosier Tree Service tends those tree lines after an ice storm, clearing what's broken so the windbreak can keep doing its job come the next front. A downed limb here doesn't just block a driveway, it opens a gap the wind finds fast, and the drift on the other side gets worse for it. The crew works the fence rows and farm lanes methodically, cutting and hauling wood clear of the gravel underneath. Once a stretch is cleared, the wind goes back to breaking against solid branches instead of open bare ground.
