Norway Gardens

About Norway Gardens

Monticello sits where the Tippecanoe River pools into Lake Shafer and Lake Freeman, and the water shapes the mood of every month in this White County town. All through the lake summers, with boats humming past the docks, Norway Gardens keeps the grass cut low and the edges clipped, so yards stay as inviting as the shoreline. When winter turns the lakes gray and still, the work shifts to snow removal, opening up driveways and front walks before the day's first errands. There is a real reward in both: a striped lawn sloping toward the water in July, a plowed drive shining dark under a January sunrise. Whatever the river weather brings, Norway Gardens meets it head on.
