About Old Capital Lawncare

Milltown sits in the hollows along the Blue River, where Crawford County's hills fold the roads into switchbacks before they ever reach a driveway. Snow that falls into those creases lingers far longer than it does out on the open ridge, shaded most of the day by hardwoods. Old Capital Lawncare works those hidden driveways and walkways, salting the steep spots first, since a slick grade near the river bluff isn't something anyone wants to test. The crew knows which lanes ice over before others and which ones drain and dry quick, and plans the morning route around it. By midday, even the shadiest hollow drives are down to bare gravel, and the Blue River keeps running past, indifferent, below the bluff.
