Olivias Tree Service

About Olivias Tree Service

Down in Michigan City's Uptown Arts District, snow gathers on the striped awnings and window ledges of the old storefronts before it ever touches the street below. Olivias Tree Service works the trees that line those blocks, clearing storm-broken limbs and hauling brush away so the sidewalks stay walkable for whoever's headed into a gallery or a coffee shop. Late-afternoon light off the lake turns the cleared branches gold before the crew loads the last of them into the truck. It's careful work in tight quarters — old trees, old buildings, not much room for error. When the block is finally clear, the awnings hang open again over swept, safe pavement.
