About Dan's Landscaping

Out at Creek Ridge the ground softens sometime in April, and every lawn in the county wakes up within about a week of one another. Dan's Landscaping meets Michigan City at that turn — clearing the winter's wreck of sticks and matted leaves, then putting down the first real cut of the year, the one that changes how a whole street looks. From there it is a steady rhythm of mowing, edging and trimming right through the growing months. Spring here smells like wet sand and cut grass at the same time, which is about as good as a working morning gets. Nothing complicated about it; the yard just keeps looking like somebody has hold of it.
