About Caretaker Landscaping & Lawn LLC

By the middle of October the big oaks near Washington Street let go all at once, and a lawn that looked tidy on Friday is under six inches of leaf by Monday. Caretaker Landscaping & Lawn LLC works that stretch of Michigan City the way the name suggests — mowing while the grass still wants to grow, edging the walks of the older streets, raking and clearing so nothing mats down over the turf through the cold months. There is real satisfaction in the last pass of the season, the yard opened back up, the brick path visible again from the sidewalk. Autumn light here comes in sideways off the lake and makes even a plain front lawn look considered. A property kept up in fall is a property that comes back easy in spring.
