Palm Hardscapes

About Palm Hardscapes

Late in a spring evening the West Fork of the White River runs low and bright past Martinsville, and the sycamores leaning over it hold the last light longer than anything else around. Palm Hardscapes works the lawns on this side of the water, mowing and edging and trimming close around beds, borders and the awkward corners a deck mower will never reach. Bottomland grass grows fast here, greedy after a rain, so keeping it in hand becomes a weekly conversation rather than a one-time fix. The payoff is a yard that reads calm from the road — even height, tidy borders, nothing shaggy at the fence line. Driving back through town with river fog starting to lift out of the low ground, the day's finished yards line up behind you like a sentence that finally scans.
