About Outdoor Maintenance Inc.

Summer mornings in Martinsville come up over the courthouse square before the town does — light on old brick, dew still heavy in the grass, trailers loading while the streets are empty. Outdoor Maintenance Inc. keeps lawns across town on a steady rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging, the kind of upkeep that makes a yard look intentional rather than merely cut. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass along a sidewalk, when the edge comes up clean and the line runs true from the drive to the mailbox. In a place that took part of its name from the mineral water rising out of the ground beneath it, keeping things green feels close to a civic habit. Come autumn the work turns toward clearing off everything the maples let go, so the turf heads into the cold open and breathing. It is ordinary work, done attentively, on lawns the neighbors walk past every day.
