About Backwoods Lawncare

The hollows south of Martinsville hold fog until mid-morning, and property lines out that way run straight up against standing timber. Backwoods Lawncare takes the yards that meet the woods — mowing to the tree line, trimming around stumps and posts, edging the drive, clearing the clippings off. Grass at a timber edge is always trying to become brush, and cutting it back is what keeps a yard a yard. There is a plain pleasure in the last pass, when mowed ground meets forest in one clean line. Then the fog lifts and you can finally see the whole thing.
