About Evergreen Lawn Care

November strips the maples along the hillside, and then something surprising happens — the lawns stay green. Cool-season fescue holds its color here well past the last leaf, which is why Evergreen Lawn Care's calendar does not end when the mowing does: leaves pulled off the crown, seed worked into thin ground, feeding done while the roots are still awake. Earlier in the year it is the steady rhythm of mowing on a weekly turn, trimming close, edges kept sharp along drives and walks. A yard raked clean under low winter light has its own kind of finish, quieter than a summer cut but every bit as deliberate. Come April, that late-season work is the reason the grass comes on so fast.
