Hamms Lawn Care

About Hamms Lawn Care

Lyons sits up in the folds of Greene County, where the road tips down toward the White River bottoms and the sycamores go pale along the banks. Yards here are rarely flat, and mowing one means reading the slope before a blade ever drops. Hamms Lawn Care keeps the town's lawns cut, trimmed and edged, with cleanups when the hills fill with leaves in the fall. Late in the afternoon the light comes sideways over the ridges and a freshly mown hillside shows every contour it has. That is the best part of the job — the way a hard lot looks easy once it is finished.
