About Newcomb Lawn Care & Landscaping

South of Lowell the ground lets go and eases down toward the old Kankakee marsh, and on a September evening the light comes across it long and low. Newcomb Lawn Care & Landscaping is out in that light finishing routes — mowing, edging, trimming, and the planting and bed care that gives a yard some structure past the grass. Late season is when a lawn shows whether it was tended all summer or only visited. The good ones go into October thick and even, holding their color while the fields around them turn. Then the leaves start, and there is plenty more to do.
