About Vivid Tree Service

The Eel comes down to meet the Wabash right at Logansport, and the bottomland trees along both rivers grow fast and grow heavy. Vivid Tree Service takes them on — removal where a cottonwood has gotten ahead of the yard it stands in, trimming to lift limbs off a porch roof or a fence line. Pruning is winter work, timed to the weeks when the river runs low and grey under the bridges. Cass County storms travel the river corridor and take the weak wood first; the cleanup afterward means saws, a chipper and a rake finish that leaves the grass standing. A whole afternoon of noise, and then a yard so quiet you can hear the water again.
