About Slusser's Green Thumb Inc

Late summer, after fair week has packed up at the county fairgrounds, is when Logansport lawns show what the heat did to them — thin spots, bare patches, grass gone pale. Slusser's Green Thumb Inc works that window, seeding and feeding so the cool nights of September do their part, alongside regular mowing, trimming and edging. Grass is a crop like any other around here; it responds to timing more than effort. A lawn overseeded at the right moment comes back thick enough to crowd the weeds out on its own. There is quiet pride in walking a yard in October and finding it fuller than it was in June.
