About Gipson's Personal Lawn Care L.L.C

On a Saturday morning in Riverside Park the carousel starts turning and the smell of fresh-cut grass drifts across the river with it — the two things that mean summer has properly arrived in Logansport. Gipson's Personal Lawn Care L.L.C keeps yards on that side of the week, mowing, edging and trimming so a place is ready before anyone is home to enjoy it. Personal is the operative word: the same yards, learned over time, cut the way each one wants to be cut. Slopes get a different pass than flat river-bottom ground, and the strip along the walk gets its own attention. What is left behind is a lawn that looks unhurried, which is the hardest look to earn.
