Fugate Lawn & Landscape

About Fugate Lawn & Landscape

Linden is a crossroads town: two rail lines crossed here, and the depot that watched over the junction is still standing. Fugate Lawn & Landscape works the yards around it, out where Montgomery County flattens into long open horizons and the fencerows are the only thing interrupting the sky. Wind is the constant — it comes across that ground all afternoon and dries a lawn fast once a storm has gone through. Mowing, trimming and edging give those wide, exposed yards a shape that holds up against so much space. The best moment comes on the last pass of the evening, when the light drops low and the rows run unbroken to the property line.
