Thompson Mowing

About Thompson Mowing

By October, Lebanon turns gold at the edges — maples going over along the residential streets, the light arriving low and long across yards that have been cut all summer. Thompson Mowing keeps to that steady work: mowing on a regular week, trimming close around beds and posts, edging the walks, and carrying off the leaves once they start coming down in earnest. There is something plain and good about the last cuts of the year, when the grass finally slows and the lines left behind will hold a while. Around Memorial Park and out along the county roads, a raked, short-cut lawn is how a house says it has been looked after heading into the cold. The mower goes away clean, and the yard waits for spring.
