Snowball Excavating

About Snowball Excavating

Laotto is barely more than a crossroads in Noble County, a scatter of houses and farm lanes between Kendallville and the lake country around Wolf Lake, and a winter storm out here can bury a driveway with nobody around for half a mile to notice. Snowball Excavating runs those farm lanes and rural driveways, clearing a path between the road and the barn so a place that far from town doesn't lose a whole day to weather. The fields around Laotto lie open and exposed, snow drifting across them in long ridges that pile deepest right where a lane meets the county road. Getting that first stretch cleared is often the difference between a farmhouse that's reachable and one that isn't until the wind finally dies down. Out at a crossroads this small, every driveway cleared matters, because there aren't many of them to begin with.
