About Mathews Lawn care and Property Maintenance

The town took its name from a railroad stop, and freights still roll through Lake Station at all hours, so evening work here gets done to the sound of couplers and crossing bells. Mathews Lawn care and Property Maintenance favors that last hour of daylight, when the mower's final pass throws long shadows and the trimmed line beside the sidewalk looks drawn with a straightedge. The work runs past mowing into keeping a property whole — edging, trimming, leaf and debris cleanup, the small repeated attentions that stop a lot from slipping. Summer arrives hot and heavy off the flats, autumn comes down in oak leaves by the bushel, and each one asks something different of a yard. Mathews answers it here in Lake Station and out through the neighboring towns.
