About Redlawns Lawn & Landscape LLC

By the middle of October the sugar maples along Wildcat Creek let go nearly all at once, and for two weeks the yards north of Lafayette are ankle-deep in red and yellow. Redlawns Lawn & Landscape LLC works that stretch hard — blowing leaves off turf before they mat down and smother it, clearing beds and fence corners, taking the mowing height down as the growth slows toward the first hard frost. Fertilizer and seed go into the openings the season leaves behind, because a lawn built in autumn is the one that shows up in spring. The best part of the day comes near the end of it, when the low sun crosses a yard that was buried an hour ago and is now nothing but grass. Then the trailer gets loaded, and the crew moves one street over to do it again.
