Meece Lawn Care

About Meece Lawn Care

South of Lafayette the ground flattens into the Wea Plain, corn tasseling out to the fence rows and heat already standing over the county roads by ten in the morning. Meece Lawn Care runs its July route straight through that shimmer, cutting at the height that keeps a lawn cool at the crown, string trimming fence posts and mailbox pipes, treating the crabgrass that thrives in an Indiana dry spell. Grass out here grows in bursts between thunderstorms, so the schedule bends to the weather rather than the calendar. The satisfaction is simple and it repeats every week: a yard that looks deliberate again, lines laid down even, the trimmer line stopped exactly where the driveway starts. By late summer the color holds, and the feeding that goes down ahead of fall does the quiet work underground.
