About Antonio’s Outdoors

Rain crosses downtown Lafayette in late spring the way it always has, over the courthouse dome, down the brick of Main Street, and out across every lawn in town, which by Thursday needs cutting again. Antonio's Outdoors meets that surge with mowing, string trimming, edging and cleanup, keeping yards from running away in the weeks when everything grows at once. Around here a house is read from the sidewalk, and a straight cut line along the drive says plenty before anyone reaches the porch. The route runs block to block, from the older streets above the river to the newer additions out east. By evening the mowers are quiet and the yards are square again.
