About Tom’s Lawn Care and Snow Removal LLC

Not far from the old Kokomo Opalescent Glass works, still turning out stained glass much as it did in the city's earliest days, Tom's Lawn Care and Snow Removal LLC runs its plow routes through the residential blocks east of downtown. The same hands that edge a lawn square and crisp each summer bring that same attention to a snowy driveway in January, pushing every pass back to a clean line instead of leaving a ragged edge along the garage. Kokomo's storms tend to arrive fast and heavy, dropping several wet inches overnight before clearing to a hard, bright cold by morning, and it's that overnight window when the crew is out, headlights the only light on streets still waiting for their porch lamps to switch on. Finishing a block before the streetlights click off at dawn, knowing a driveway buried at midnight will be bare concrete by the time its owner steps out for the paper, is the quiet payoff of the whole night's work. By the time the glass works opens its doors for the day, the neighborhood around it sits quiet and clear, walks salted, driveways scraped bare from curb to garage.
