Pro-Turf Lawn Care

About Pro-Turf Lawn Care

On an August evening the dust off the Kokomo Speedway hangs gold in the low light, and half the lawns in town are running on the memory of the last good rain. Pro-Turf Lawn Care spends its year on what happens beneath the blades: feeding, weed control, aeration once the fall comes on, and seed dropped into the open holes while the soil is still warm. Central Indiana turf sits on heavy glacial till that compacts hard under a summer of traffic and thanks you for a core pull come September. Timing is most of the job here, from the pre-emergent that has to beat the soil temperature to the late feeding the roots carry down into winter. The payoff arrives the following May, when the stand closes in on itself thick enough that the weeds never get a window.
