About Barnett Services

Late August in Kokomo turns the turf tough and the evenings gold, the sort of low light that stretches across the ball diamonds at Jackson Morrow Park. Barnett Services meets that stretch of the year with mowing, string trimming and edging, cutting a touch higher while the heat holds so the grass keeps its color. Yards on this side of Howard County run wide and open, which rewards a straight line and punishes a wandering one. Fence corners, mailbox posts and the awkward strip along the alley all get their own pass, because those are the spots a lawn is actually judged by. When the nights finally cool and growth picks back up, the height comes down again and the season closes out clean.
