About J&G Lawn &Tree Services

The Yellow River bends quietly through Knox, and the shade trees that follow it reach a long way out over the yards of Starke County. J&G Lawn & Tree Services works both halves of that picture: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing season, plus pruning, limb work and brush clearing when a tree crowds a roofline or a storm leaves a tangle behind. Around the courthouse square and out on the black muck ground north of town, grass comes on hard and fast, and staying ahead of it takes steady weeks. Autumn is the busiest stretch, when the leaves drop over a few short days and a raked, cleared yard makes an entire street look looked-after. It is honest work and it shows plainly, in the crisp edge along a walk and in a canopy lifted so the light reaches the grass again.
