About Universal Landscaping & Construction

The Monon Trail runs like a spine up the north side of Indianapolis, an old rail line turned path that a lot of the neighborhoods along it were built to face rather than turn their backs on. Universal Landscaping & Construction clears the driveways and walks on those trail-facing blocks before the morning commuters start moving along it on foot and by bike, snow or not. The houses here often sit with garages fed by narrow drives just off the trail's crossings, so timing matters — a driveway cleared too late holds up a whole morning routine. Trucks work the side streets first, shovel crews finish the walks that dead-end right at the trail itself. By the time the first joggers and dog-walkers are out on a cleared path of their own, the driveways feeding onto it are bare too. It's morning-focused work in a part of the city built around movement, on foot as much as by car.
