About Tovar Snow Professionals, Inc.

Geist Reservoir sits out on the far northeast edge of Indianapolis, its shoreline lined with houses that back right up to the water — houses that catch wind off the reservoir the moment temperatures drop enough to matter. Tovar Snow Professionals, Inc. runs winter routes along that shoreline and the streets feeding into it, clearing driveways that curve down toward the water on one side and open onto quiet cul-de-sacs on the other. The reservoir keeps those blocks a few degrees colder than neighborhoods further inland long after a storm has passed through the rest of the city, so the routes here run later into the morning than most. Docks and boat lifts sit shut down for the season along the shore, snow settling over them undisturbed while the plows work the roads above. It's a specific kind of winter work, shaped by a body of water most of the rest of the city never has to think about.
