About RPM Co Inc

West of downtown, the ground flattens out around Speedway and the Motor Speedway's quiet winter grounds, where the crowds and engines of summer give way to empty lots and long, straight residential streets. RPM Co Inc plows those streets and the driveways off them, working routes that run block after block without much variation in grade — flat, wide, and fast to clear once the blade finds its rhythm. Winter out here can be deceptively still: no crowd noise, no track activity, just quiet houses under a layer of snow that came down overnight while the neighborhood slept. Trucks move steadily down the grid before daylight, salt trailing behind, so that the first car pulling out for an early shift finds pavement instead of ice. It's a practical, unhurried kind of route in a part of the city that spends its winters resting.
