About A Cleaner Place LLC

Huntington grew up where the Little River meets the Wabash, and the old canal town still shows it — streets that bend to follow water instead of a grid, a downtown built low along the river bottom that floods before it freezes. A Cleaner Place works that historic core first, clearing the sidewalks around the courthouse square and the brick storefronts nearby, then moves out along the streets that climb away from the two rivers toward the newer neighborhoods. Huntington County winters bring enough freeze and thaw off that water that ice is as much the concern here as fresh snow, and the crew salts heavier along the low streets near the Forks of the Wabash than anywhere else on the route. Driveways get cleared to bare pavement, walks get shoveled edge to edge, and by the time morning traffic crosses back over the river into downtown, the bridge approaches are usually the cleanest stretch in the county.
