About Lawns Plus

On a clear morning after a storm, Hope's side streets are quiet enough to hear a shovel scrape two blocks off. Lawns Plus works those residential streets early, clearing driveways and walks in the neighborhoods that spread out toward the edges of the Bartholomew County farmland surrounding Hope. It's a small town, and the crew treats it like one — a plowed driveway here is often a five-minute conversation, not just a job finished and left. Salt goes down along the walks leading to the elementary school first, so the first kids out the door aren't the ones testing the ice. By the time the school bell rings, the route from a Hope front porch to the sidewalk usually looks like the weather never touched it.
