Reel Clean Cut

About Reel Clean Cut

Hobart rides up on the old glacial ridge, high enough that September fog pools in the low yards and burns off from the top down. Reel Clean Cut likes that hour — blades sharp, deck height set, the first pass laid down while the air is still cool and the grass stands up straight. A cut even enough to read from the street is no accident; it comes from sharp steel and a mower that is not in a hurry. Then the trimmer along the fence, the edger down the walk, the drive blown clear behind it. One clean pass at a time, through Hobart and the towns beside it.
